The Adršpach-Teplice rock city is the grandest sandstone labyrinth in Central Europe — towers a hundred metres tall with names like The Lovers, The Mayor and the Sugar Loaf, carved by ninety million years of water and wind. Goethe came; Disney's Frozen borrowed the scenery.
You walk through stone canyons where the light falls in shafts, pass a waterfall tucked inside a chasm, and drift on a green quarry lake with cliffs all around — and the two most famous towers here literally lean toward each other and are called Milenci: The Lovers. The proposal metaphor writes itself.

The furthest-flung adventure on this list and worth every minute for outdoorsy couples: propose with The Lovers behind you or on the emerald lake's shore. Go on a weekday, start early (entry is timed in season), and treat it as a full-day expedition. Snow turns it otherworldly in winter.
Day-trip proposals run from our Prague base — travel is quoted transparently with your date (from +€180 for destinations within ~2 hours; further afield individually). One trip, one price, no surprises.
