Golden Lane Proposal in Prague

Tiny painted houses inside the castle walls.

A Little History

Six words or six centuries — the story first.

Built into the castle fortifications in the 16th century for guards and goldsmiths, the lane's miniature houses later drew writers — Kafka wrote in his sister's blue house at No. 22 through the winter of 1916.

Why It's Romantic

The atmosphere you're proposing into.

Crooked chimneys, doll-scale doorways in ochre and blue — it's the most storybook corner of Prague, and at opening time you can have the whole tale to yourselves.

Is Golden Lane right for your proposal?

We enter at the first minute of opening for ten empty-lane minutes: the proposal by the blue house, portraits down the row, done before the first tour group turns the corner. Precision, and worth it.
