Kemal Onur Özman

Kemal Onur Özman is a Prague-based photographer who has spent more than a decade doing one thing exceptionally well: being in exactly the right place at exactly the right moment, without ever being noticed. Since 2014 he has photographed 500+ surprise proposals across Prague — and now across Central Europe — as the photographer and founder of CandidYES.

His craft is candid by conviction: no posing drills, no staged reactions. He scouts every location in advance, knows where Prague's light falls in every season, and shoots the proposal itself from a distance before stepping in for relaxed portraits. The result is the moment as it actually happened — nerves, tears, laughter and all.
