February keeps January's empty streets but gives you almost an hour more daylight by month's end. It's the natural home of the Valentine's proposal — and because Prague's own lovers' day is actually 1 May, the 14th here is romantic without being overrun.

Light and golden hour
Sunrise around 7:10, sunset around 17:20 mid-month. Golden hour starts around 16:30 — after-work light, effectively. Mornings stay wonderfully quiet.

Similar to January: −1 to 5 °C, chances of snow early in the month, and the year's lowest visitor numbers alongside January. Gardens remain closed; the river, the hills and the old streets are yours.
