Vrtba Garden Proposal in Prague

A UNESCO garden behind an unmarked door.

A Little History

Six words or six centuries — the story first.

Designed around 1720 by František Maxmilián Kaňka with statues by Matthias Braun, this terraced baroque garden hides behind an ordinary Malá Strana doorway — one of the finest of its kind in Europe.

Why It's Romantic

The atmosphere you're proposing into.

Climbing the terraces feels like a secret unfolding: parterres, frescoed sala terrena, and at the top a sudden view over red rooftops to the castle and St Nicholas' dome. Few tourists ever find it.
