Wallenstein Garden Proposal in Prague

A general’s garden with resident peacocks — free to enter.

A Little History

Six words or six centuries — the story first.

Built in the 1620s for Albrecht von Wallenstein, the ambitious generalissimo of the Thirty Years' War, with a monumental sala terrena, a bizarre dripstone wall, and geometric parterres. The Czech Senate sits in his palace.

Why It's Romantic

The atmosphere you're proposing into.

White peacocks stroll the gravel like they own it, carp ripple the pond, and the clipped hedges frame the castle above. It is formal, theatrical, and completely free.
