Frauenkirche & Neumarkt Proposal in Dresden

A dome rebuilt stone by stone, over a cobbled square.

A Little History

The story first.

The great domed church, destroyed in 1945, was painstakingly reconstructed from its own rubble and reconsecrated in 2005 — a global symbol of reconciliation. The Neumarkt square around it was rebuilt in baroque style to match.

Why It's Romantic

The atmosphere you're proposing into.

Warm sandstone (and darker salvaged original stones speckled through it), a graceful curved square, café terraces and the towering dome above — it's Dresden's emotional heart.

Is Frauenkirche & Neumarkt right for your proposal?

The icon shot. We time the moment for quiet early light on the Neumarkt, propose with the dome behind, and celebrate at a square-side café. Deeply meaningful for couples who love the rebuild's story.

We travel to Dresden for proposals from our Prague base — a modest travel supplement is included in your quote.
